Treetops Hospice Care is about providing nursing care and emotional support for anyone affected by illnesses such as cancer, motor neurone disease and multiple sclerosis.

Treetops supports people (along with their carers and families) with a life-limiting illness in Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.

All services are provided for free but the hospice has to raise more than £7,500 per day to run. That's around £3 million every year. Charitable donations and fundraising events provide around 70% of this.

As one of the leading family support charities in the UK. Home-Start transforms the lives of thousands of children. Children who are facing tragedy and hardship.

The parents of families with young children are supported by volunteers as they learn to cope with the challenges that they face.

The aim is to boost their confidence and help build better lives for their children.
